San Diego auditions aired late-night Sunday after the NFC Championship game.

NEW YORK, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- A Pittsburgh woman says she spent five days in jail after trying to bluff her way into American Idol auditions in New York.

A South Side woman says she will fight charges that she trespassed at American Idol auditions in the city last week -- charges that landed her in jail overnight. Brittany Acosta, 21, told reporters about her situation Thursday after her preliminary hearing was postponed until Oct. 17. Ms. Acosta says she was arrested Sept. 29 during auditions at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
