Talent of a different sort filled the San Francisco Giants' ballpark Thursday as thousands of pop-star wannabes faced the music at this year's west coast American Idol auditions. Spontaneous outbursts of singing and guitar strumming filled the plaza in front of ATT Park's Lefty O'Doul gate Thursday morning as the Idol hopefuls waited for their chances to sing inside.
